3 Years Of Growth: Joy & Claudia’s Journey

Posted by: Joy Van Den Hurk & Claudia Strijk

What starts as a bold move often turns into something far greater. For both Joy and Claudia, their journey into Dubai real estate began with ambition, uncertainty, and a desire to grow, and three years later, it’s a story of resilience, consistency, and success.

Joy entered the Dubai market with prior experience in the Netherlands, initially drawn by investment opportunities. Starting in rentals in Dubai Marina, she quickly transitioned into sales, expanding her expertise and building a strong foundation. Despite the challenges of a new city and being away from family, she stayed focused, letting hard work lead the way. Today, she stands as a top-performing senior agent for two consecutive years and a property investor herself, proof of her belief in the market.

Claudia’s journey began with a leap of faith. Coming from an interior design background in the Netherlands, she moved to Dubai without ever having visited before. Starting in rentals in Palm Jumeirah, she faced the challenge of adapting to diverse clients and cultures. Over time, she developed patience, communication skills, and confidence, hitting her yearly targets in her first year and making her own investment in Dubai.

At Baron Luxe, both agents found more than just a workplace. A supportive environment, strong leadership, and continuous learning played a key role in their growth. From hands-on training to open communication, the company culture allowed them to evolve into confident, knowledgeable professionals.

Their journeys highlight a shared mindset: stay consistent, trust the process, and focus on long-term growth. Whether it’s advising clients or building their own portfolios, both Joy and Claudia continue to push forward.

Three years in, their message is clear, success in Dubai real estate isn’t instant, but with the right mindset and support, it’s inevitable.
